Latest information for the new championship of the 3rd National football category in Greece (season 2018 – 2019)

Most probably the 8th group of the new championship of the 3rd football category in Greece (season 2018 – 2019) will include 13 football teams, the teams from Piraeus area (6 football teams) and the teams from Creta island ( 7 football teams)

This is apparent from the final recommendation of the Committee on events of EPO (Greek football federation) which is expected to be ratified and officially to the Board of the Federation next Thursday 6th Sept 2018
 

Specifically, the 8th group will consists of the following teams:6 teams of Piraeus local football federation, which are following:

FC PROODEFTIKI, Ethinkos, Keratsini, Atromitos Piraeus, Ionikos and Ampelakiakos (from Salamis island)
and following teams from Creta island : Episkopi (Rethymno local football federation), Palaiochora & SYNKA (Chania local football federation), Atsalenios & Giouchtas (Heraklion local football federation), OF Ierapetra & Neapoli ( Lasithi local football federation)
According to the current information, the draw of 3rd National Greek football league will take place on Friday 7th September 2018 and the kick-off for the new championship is set for Sunday 23 September.

As regards FC PROODEFTKI the squad is training already since a few weeks and it will be totally different comparing to last season squad.

New players have signed for the team (some experienced and several young talented players ) are training daily with our new coach Mr. Theodore Gatsios
The Squad can not be finally announced yet, as several more players will join the new team of FC PROODEFTIKI

Live transmissions of the games of FC PROODEFTIKI will be as well available this season, but the program will be announced after the draw of the games.
